Meal planning and cooking is becoming a bore. I think with the heat of the summer draining my brains out and school starting and lots of other things on my mind, I need help. This is what I have planned for this weeks meals, tell me what your cooking so I can get so new ideas. Main dishes and sides!
Monday- cabbage rolls- recipe to follow
Tuesday- chicken Alfredo pasta and tossed salad
Wednesday-pork chops with mashed potatoes and cauliflower
Thursday-ground beef bake- recipe to follow fruit on the side
Friday-fish sticks with baked sweet potatoes
Saturday- orange chicken with brown rice and pineapple rings
Sunday- OYO (on your own) leftover eaten all up day to start a new week.
Cabbage Rolls
1 LB ground beef
8 big leaves of cabbage removed from head, rinse clean, put cabbage in a pot of boiling water for 3-5 minutes until tender crisp drain well, pat dry, Mix ground beef with 1 cup cup of brown rice. In the center of each cabbage leaf add a TBS of the meat rice mixture. roll the sides in and put in a casserole 9x13 pan, cover rolls with tomato sauce. Cover dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
Ground Beef Bake
1 LB ground beef browned
1 small onion diced small
1 can pork and beans remove fat
3/4 cup bbq sauce
mix all together put in in a round casserole dish, open a can a flaky biscuits cut each into halves corner to corner to make moon shaped biscuits. place biscuits cut size down on top of meat mixture. Bake on the bottom shelf of oven for 30 minutes at 400.
